2008 Chicago Art Open


The Chicago Art Open
is produced by the Chicago Artists’ Coalition, the city’s largest visual arts service organization. The exhibition and related programs take place from Friday, October 3 through Sunday, October 19 on the NE corner of the Eighth Floor of the Merchandise Mart, 222 Merchandise Mart Plaza, in Chicago’s River North district.

As part of a broader effort to highlight the diversity of visual arts practice in the Chicagoland area, the CAC has partnered with five Chicagoland arts organizations to feature outstanding artists in the 2008 Chicago Art Open.

The Chicago Art Open will run October 3-19 from 10 am- 5 pm daily.

Admission is free, with a suggested donation of $5/person.

The formal Opening Benefit will take place on Friday, October 3, from 6-10 pm.
