Made up of experienced rescuers and a growing community of dedicated volunteers, One Tail believes that every individual can make a difference in alleviating the problem of animal overpopulation.
We promote the importance of spaying and neutering companion animals to reduce the amount of unwanted animals and uphold the idea that pets are an indispensable part of the family as part of the effort to make Chicago a no-kill city. We also encourage positive and humane training techniques to ensure that dogs and their adoptive families remain bonded and together for the life of the dog.
contratiempo is a 501(c)3 not for profit literary and publishing center organization whose mission is to preserve and highlight the cultural identity and contributions of the Spanish-speaking Latino community in the United States. As immigrants in the United States, we frequently wonder what of ourselves we have left behind and what new self we have become. We endeavour to contribute, to the degree we can, to building these answers together. Such is our challenge and our goal.

Coprodeli USA is a 501(c)3 non-governmental organization with the mission to support the work of Coprodeli Foundation in Peru with financial and in-kind donations, expert knowledge, volunteer participation, and other activities. The Mission of Coprodeli is to contribute to the total development of, and protect the right to, a dignified life for the poorest populations of Callao and Ica, Peru. Since 1989, Coprodeli programs benefit over 110,000 people annually in its various program areas: Education, Preventive Health, Humanitarian Aid, Food Security, Habitat, and Employment Generation.

The Old Town School of Folk Music teaches and celebrates music and cultural expressions rooted in the traditions of diverse American and global communities. Founded in 1957, Old Town School of Folk Music provides a wide range of music, dance, theater, and visual arts courses to people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.
