The Girón Books annual Book Fair, a family event since 1986.
The Book Fair will feature both local and the following Mexican authors:

ING. CUAUHTÉMOC CÁRDENAS SOLÓRZANO, Son of President Lázaro Cárdenas, a candidate for the Mexican presidency in three occasions, former governor of the state of Michoacán, who served as a mayor of Mexico City, will present his book Sobre mis pasos (Aguilar-Santillana)
Friday, September 2 at noon.

ANABEL HERNÁNDEZ, will present her best selling report, Los señores del narco (Grijalbo- Random House)
Friday, September 2 at 4 pm.

CARLOS CUAUHTÉMOC SÁNCHEZ, renowned author of best sellers such as Juventud en éxtasis, will be presenting El virus (Diamante)
Saturday, September 3 at noon.

CONSUELO DUVAL, an actress celebrity as seen on Mexican TV, will present Frases de Consuelo (Planeta)
Sunday, September 4 at noon.

JUAN CARLOS REYNA, musician and investigative reporter, will present Confesión de un sicario (Grijalbo-Random House)
Monday, September 5 at 3 pm.

In addition to the extensive Girón Books’ Catalog, The Book Fair 2011 will showcase books of the Fondo de Cultura Económica, local editors and authors, and several Mexican university-publishing houses, as well as other educational and cultural initiatives, along with commercial enterprises that participate in support of the Spanish reading and literacy in the United States.
