Call for Art! The Art of Futbol

Calling all Artists!
Submit your art to the first annual The Art of Futbol gallery showing.
All we ask is that you show your love for Futbol!

The Chicago Fire Soccer Club and Arte y Vida Chicago invite visual artists to submit original work for this unique and one-of-a-kind exhibition in March. Curated by Amor Montes de Oca and Christina Elizabeth Rodríguez, this is the first time that the Chicago Fire entertains the artistic community of Chicago and we’re asking all of Chicago’s artists to be a part of it. Please spread the word. We will be looking for original work that celebrates Futbol!! The fanatical, the committed, the emotional, the love and passion of soccer is asked to be unashamedly displayed with various mediums including paint, pencil, photography, poetry and even the digital realm. It is also asked that the piece integrate ideas of community and cultural diversity.

This offer is available to ALL artists—students and professionals—in the Chicago area.
