Chicago Flamenco Festival is presented by Instituto Cervantes de Chicago and Arte y Vida Chicago, in collaboration with Flamenco Arts Center

The winning design will be  featured in this year’s Festival marketing campaign and collateral digital and printed material + many VIP surprises TBA. Fame and Fortune, maybe…

Entries will be judged by a representative of The Instituto Cervantes, Amor Montes de Oca/Arte y Vida Chicago, and a representative of the festival sponsor.

CONTEST DATES: Submissions open October 1, 2011; entries will be accepted until Friday, December 30; winner will be notified by email on Friday, January 6, 2012.

The contest is open to artists 18 years and older.

The Chicago Flamenco Festival will take place from February 20 – March 12, 2012, at various venues in Chicago. The annual festival features Flamenco luminaries in cante, guitar, dance; the festival also includes a weekly film series, lectures, workshops and an art exhibit in display at Instituto Cervantes.

• Printed Entries must be mounted on 8 1/2” w x 11” h foam board (original poster size: 20” w x 28” h) Include name, address, email and phone number on the back of entry.

CONTEST SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• E-Submissions must be in either PDF or JPEG formats, and no larger than 5MB. Submissions must be sent as attachments to submissions@arteyvidachicago.com
• E-Submissions must be 8 1/2 “W x 11″H in size

ALL Submissions
• Submissions must include the Instituto Cervantes and Arte y Vida Chicago official logos and a QR code
• Submissions must include space for festival sponsor logos
• Submissions must include the following language:

1. Festival dates: February 20 – March 12, 2012
