Crazy Calavera Craft Day
Crazy Calavera Craft Day
Each child will have the opportunity to visit 3 workstations where they will be able to paint and create something special in celebration for Dia De Los Muertos.
They will be able to take their time painting Paper Mache Calaveras, making Tissue Paper Marigolds, and painting Mini Calavera Magnets
It will be a very casual and laid back event in which you and the children can take your time at each workstation to get as creative as you’d each like. The hours of this event are set up for you to be able to drop in at a convenient time that works for you. Please keep in mind, it can take up to 2 hours to make it through all of the stations.
In addition to our Calavera crafts, there will be a cool costume corner. We will have a variety of old and unused household items such as blankets, pillowcases, shoeboxes, clothes, etc. We will help your child come up with a unique and creative homemade costume with these items. Please feel free to bring any old and unused items you may have lying around that house that you think could be transformed into a unique costume. Not sure if it can be used? Bring it anyway and we will get creative with it!
Light snacks and refreshments will be available through out the whole event.
What you should bring:
- An old oversized T-shirt your child can wear over their clothes. (We don’t want them staining their nice clothes with paint.)
- A picture of someone special that has passed on. This can be a family member, friend, family pet, historic sports hero, famous singer, artist, etc.
- Any household items that you think can be used in making a unique costume.
Registration is $10.00 for one Little Skeleton. If you’d like to bring a small crew of Little Skeletons, its only $5.00 more for each additional child.
There is no charge for the Big Skeletons.
