Damian Rivero – Tribute to Soda Stereo

Argentinean born and raised, Damian Rivero comes from a large musical family (his grandfather was celebrated Tango singer Edmundo Rivero) but is also a product of Argentina’s booming Latin Rock scene that has been a force in the industry since the ’80s. He performed all over Argentina with the C-Men before signing with Warner Music in the late ’90s. His first release ‘Damian Rivero’ was a top 10 hit in Argentina and resulted in extensive touring and a number of television appearances. Damian now calls Chicago home where he has performed in many of our city’s top venues and released ‘Con el Diablo en el Hombro’ with Grammy nominated producer Andres Meneses.
Damian brings us an inspiring tribute to Argentina’s Soda Stereo, one of Latin America’s seminal Latin Rock bands.
