Darwin Noguera Solo Piano Performance
Nicaraguan pianist and composer Darwin Noguera is considered to be one of the young masters of his generation as he has accomplished a fluid integration between Classical, Jazz, and Latin rhythms. Darwin’s debut album as a leader, “The Gardener”, was received with rave reviews, which featured his latest works, as well as those from members of his quintet. Since his arrival to the Windy City, his talents have been sought by local and international artists. His current projects include the Evolution Quintet, and the Chicago Afro-Latin Jazz Ensemble. His groups regularly take part in Chicago-area festivals, the most noted performance being Millennium Park’s “Made in Chicago: World Class Jazz Series” and the Chicago Jazz Festival. He can be heard on a regular basis at Andy’s Jazz Club.
A reception sponsored by Whole Foods will follow the concert.
