Day of the Dead

Join us for the 26th annual exhibition of one of Mexico’s most important celebrations, and the largest annual Day of the Dead exhibition in the United States. Ofrendas, installations, and works of art created by Mexican artists from both sides of the border, invite visitors to celebrate life by glimpsing death. Explore the ancient ways and traditions of Hanal Pixán (which literally means “food for the souls” in Mayan) from the Yucatan Peninsula, to family ofrendas created in the U.S. that remember and honor our ancestors.

This year’s exhibition is dedicated to Chicago artist Francisco G. Mendoza
