Accompanied by guitarist Eduardo Pacheco and vocalist Cristian de Moret, dancer Vanesa Aibar conveys the art of Flamenco through her stylistic and powerful self-choreographed dance.  Aibar has won many awards for her dance including second place for individual choreography at the Certamen Flamenco de Madrid en 2011.
As the result of years of practice and learning the art form of Flamenco, the three artists come together to bring their knowledge of traditional flamenco to life through their individual talents of guitar, song and dance, creating a unique and exciting experience.

Alison Cuddy is the arts and culture reporter at WBEZ 91.5 FM Chicago Public Media. Alison’s been with the station since 2001 working as a host, reporter and producer. Previously she was host of Eight Forty-Eight and currently co-hosts Strange Brews, a podcast about the community and culture around craft beer.

The Chicago Flamenco Festival is presented by Instituto Cervantes and Arte y Vida Chicago in collaboration with Old Town School of Folk Music and Flamenco Arts Center.
