ILCC Poster Submission Contest

The Poster Contest deadline has been extended to Monday, December 7, 2009.

Guidelines:
Contest is open to all artists.
There is no limit to the number of entries submitted.
All entries must be received by DEADLINE: Tuesday, December 1, 2009.

IMPORTANT:
Entries must be mounted on an 8 1/2″ w x 11″ h board. The design must be easily translated to a variety of print materials such as 30″ x 36″ size posters, newsprint ads, cotton t-shirts, bus ads, film, etc.
Include your name, address, email and phone number on the back of each entry.
In the artwork, incorporate:
26th Chicago Latino Film Festival
April 16-29, 2010

If your poster design is selected, you win $1,000 and your design will become the face of the Festival, as it will be on the cover of one million newsprint schedules that are inserted in various Chicago newspapers. In addition, your artwork will be featured on invitations, program books, festival trailer, t-shirts and much more unlimited and priceless exposure.
The winning design is selected by a panel of judges in the fields of design, art, public relations and marketing. The winning poster will be unveiled in Chicago mid-January 2010. Entries will be evaluated based on appeal, content and marketability. The decision of the judges is final.
The International Latino Cultural Center does not assume responsibility for entries. Artists providing a self-addressed stamped envelope will have their design(s) returned.
