Illinois Humanities Council 10th Anniversary Auction

For ten years, The Public Square Program has aimed to bring the humanities to under-served and racially diverse communities in Chicago through free events about cultural, social, and political issues, with an emphasis on social justice. Events such as film screenings, panels, readings, and performances, held in various neighborhoods throughout Chicago, ensure that critical knowledge and information is made accessible to all members of the community. The auction is part of the IHC’s goal to raise $10,000 to support The Public Square’s programming.

Including!

Novelist, poet, and journalist Achy Obejas will share her very own special recipe for flan in a hands-on, private cooking lesson for two.
