Javier Ruibal was born in the province of Cádiz in southern Spain. His highly acclaimed vocal talents blend different styles like flamenco, jazz and Maghreb music into a unique mix. His lyrics spin tales of exotic Arabic gardens, bellydancers in Paris, and flamencos in Manhattan. This vibrant evening opens with a performance from Old Town School’s Flamenco faculty and students.
