Poster Contest for the 25th
Chicago Latino Film Festival Silver Anniversary
Guidelines:
• The contest is open to all artists.
• All entries must be received by deadline Monday December 1, 5PM.
• There is no limit to the number of entries submitted.
• IMPORTANT: Entries must be mounted on an 8 1/2″ w x 11″ h board.
• The design must be easily translated to a variety of print materials such as 30″ x 36″ size posters, newsprint ads, cotton t-shirts, bus ads, film, etc.
• In the artwork, incorporate: 25th Chicago Latino Film Festival, April 17-29, 2009 Silver Anniversary
• Include your name, address, email and phone number on the back of each submission.
• Entries will be evaluated based on appeal, content and marketability. The decision of the judges is final.
• The International Latino Cultural Center does not assume responsibility for submissions. Artists providing a self-addressed stamped envelope will have their design(s) returned.
If your poster design is selected, you win $1,000 and your design will become the face of the Festival, as it will be on the cover of approximately one million newsprint schedules that are inserted in various Chicago newspapers. In addition, your artwork will be featured on invitations, program books, t-shirts and much more unlimited and priceless exposure.
The winning design is selected by a panel of judges in the fields of design, arts, public relations and marketing. The winning poster will be unveiled in mid-January 2009 in Chicago.

Canal Once, a cultural TV Station in Mexico, and Flare Film Production are seeking talented Mexican women with different professions for an interview. The purpose of the interview is to show their professional life as well as their hobbies in a city like Chicago. The interview will be aired by Canal Once on a morning talkshow.

El proposito es mostrar la vida profesional asi como sus pasatiempos en una ciudad como Chicago. Esta entrevistas seran mostradas al aire atravez del Canal Once en un programa matutino.
