CALJE has been called “The Premiere Latin Jazz group in the Midwest”.
CALJE brings together Chicago’s finest jazz musicians in a powerhouse group that fuses the musical treasures of Afro-Latin music and Jazz to produce an eclectic fusion that includes various genres, ranging from Flamenco to Peruvian influences, while remaining true to Latin American traditions.
Critics are raving about this new ensemble and the energy that transpires from them is reverberating all throughout the Chicago land area. Noguera and Garcia have formed an explosive multi-ethnic group that serve as ambassadors of Afro-Latin Jazz, assuring the audience of an unforgettable night of musical fusion and dance.
