Palabra Pura with Achy Obejas and Eduardo Halfon

We continue our sixth season of bilingual poetry reading series Palabra Pura with an evening featuring famed poet and journalist Achy Obejas, and poet Eduardo Halfon, named in 2007 as one of the 39 best young Latin American writers by the Hay Festival of Bogotá. As with all Palabra Pura events, the evening will include poetry in Spanish, English and a combination of both. It will take place at Humboldt Park’s La Bruquena restaurant, a favorite venue for literary events; admission is free. As always, audiences of all backgrounds and languages are welcome.
