After brilliant but emotionally damaged concert pianist Ainhoa (Spanish TV star Anne Igartiburu) is injured in an accident, she faces a future in which she might never play again. As she recovers, she negotiates a relationship with a mysterious security guard and delves into her childhood, mulling over how a violent encounter with Basque separatists affected her ability to relate to others or to her music.
