The Pilsen Soundtrack 1.0 project is an independent production featuring Pilsen/Chicago musicians that live and/or work in Pilsen, a vibrant neighboorhood that is the Heart of the immigrant and mexican community in Chicago. Bands in genres ranging from traditional mexican music and cuban son to ska, bossa and alternative rock.

The Pilsen Soundtrack 1.0 CD features the talent of 7 Pilsen groups  that have come together to record world music genres in their own unique and eclectic Chicago sound. The soundtrack features: Fandanguero, Azul de Noche, Los Vicios de Papá, Son del Viento, LFT, Tarima Son and Benjamín Anaya & Los Extraños Unidos. The album is co-produced by Rockotitlan Chicago, an independent producer with political and cultural undertones and Producciones Azules a sound studio based on the southside of Chicago.
