Round-Table Discussion: Latino & Hispanic cultural heritage

Chicago Conversación
Una Conversación sobre la Preservación de la Herencia Cultural Latina en Chicago

The National Trust for Historic Preservation, Landmarks Illinois, Arquitectos, UNO, the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency, and Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago (NHS) invite you to join us for a Chicago Conversación, a luncheon and round-table discussion about Latino and Hispanic cultural heritage and places of importance in Chicago and the surrounding communities.

Chicago Conversación is part of a series of meetings that have taken place across the country to explore the influence of Latinas and Latinos on the physical and cultural landscapes of important cities.

We want to hear from you – Share your views on what preservation, culture, and heritage mean to you and your community, and tell us what organizations can do to help save the places that matter to you.

We want to share with you – Learn about tools and resources that might be available to local Latino groups and organizations.

Join us to share your ideas and stories with representatives from many Chicago-area preservation organizations. This event is free and open to the public, but space is limited. If you have questions about the Conversación, or to RSVP, contact Christina Morris at christina_morris@nthp.org or 312-939-5547 x37231.
